bb2 is operated by [legal operator name], based in [state or territory], Australia. These terms form an agreement between you and us when you select the Terms checkbox and create an account.

Who can use bb2

You must be at least 16 and able to enter this agreement. Use a real email address you control, keep your password and session secure, and tell us promptly if you believe someone else has used your account.

What bb2 provides

bb2 is a monthly budget planner with calculators for common Australian money questions. The service is free while in beta. We do not currently take payments or store payment details. Features may change during beta.

Not financial advice

bb2 calculates estimates from information you enter and published assumptions identified in the app. Nothing in bb2 is financial, tax or legal advice, and no result is a recommendation. The calculators do not consider all of your circumstances. Check important decisions against an official source or an appropriately licensed professional.

Your account and content

You keep ownership of the information you enter. You give us permission to host and process it only as needed to provide, secure and support bb2 as described in our Privacy Policy. You can download a financial-data backup or delete your account from the account settings. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.

Acceptable use

You must not:

• try to access another person's account or information;
• attack, disrupt, overload, scrape or reverse engineer the service;
• use automated requests in a way that harms bb2 or other users;
• upload malicious material or misuse bb2 for unlawful activity; or
• help another person do any of these things.

Availability, suspension and closure

You may stop using bb2 or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account when we reasonably believe it breaches these terms, threatens the service or another person, or must be restricted by law. We will explain the action where reasonably practical, but may act without advance notice for an urgent security, safety or legal reason.

We may change, pause or discontinue bb2. Where reasonably practical, we will give advance notice of a permanent shutdown so users can download their financial-data backup. We do not promise that the service will always be available, uninterrupted or free from errors.

Australian Consumer Law and liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law.

To the extent the law permits, we are not responsible for loss caused by inaccurate information you enter, decisions made from an estimate without appropriate professional advice, or events outside our reasonable control. We do not exclude liability where the law does not allow us to do so.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [state or territory] and the Commonwealth of Australia. The courts of [state or territory] have non-exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any right you have to bring a claim elsewhere under applicable consumer law.

Changes and contact

We may make non-material corrections by updating the version and date on this page. Before a material change applies to you, we will give reasonable notice and ask you to accept the updated terms. If you do not accept them, you may stop using bb2 and delete your account.
